Abacus Health’s senior scientist, Dr. David K. Ahern is set to conduct an educational workshop for the Health Action Council’s membership on May 21, 2019 entitled Bending the Diabetes Cost Trend. Dr. Ahern will share the results of a study summarizing a decade-long implementation of the Abacus Health Diabetes Care RewardsTM Program. He’ll cover which engagement techniques work best with which populations, the clinical impact for plan members, and the medical and pharmacy impact for both employers and payers.
The webinar is open to all Health Action Council members as well as the general public. Attendees will learn how engaging diabetic populations in a comprehensive diabetes management program delivers clinical and financial results for plan members and sponsors alike.
