Abacus Health’s Co-Founder and Sr Scientist Dr David K Ahern, spoke yesterday on the topic of risk mitigation delivered a presentation entitles Mitigating the potential “boomerang effect” of the COVID-19 Pandemic on employer health plans, to brokers and employers as part of a Shortlister webinar.
Dr. Ahern explored the potential impact of delayed care, during the pandemic, on chronic conditions. While looking at innovations in telehealth and how they can aid patients in keeping current with care standards. Lastly he presented a Fortune 500 client case study on the impact of care coordination among employer health and wellness vendors.
